William (aka Billy) Ryan (1983) launched the 3rd book of the Captain Korolev series entitled “The Twelfth Department” in O’Mahony’s book store in Limerick on Thursday 23rd May.
A large crowd were in attendance, including several members of Munster Rugby. It is not by coincidence that Billy’s better half is Donnacha Ryan’s sister. It was remarked by the author that the rugby contingent seemed to be signing more books than himself! Several Old Boys were spotted at the event, as was Billy’s former English teacher and namesake – Bill Fearnley.
